Our General Orthopedics Program treats a variety of pediatric orthopedic conditions, from fractures and sprains to more complex conditions such as developmental, congenital and neuromuscular diagnoses.

About the General Orthopedics Program

Caring for a baby in the General Ortho Program

We provide a multidisciplinary care approach, meaning our team includes a variety of orthopedic experts who work together to deliver timely, comprehensive care. This includes pediatric physicians, radiology technicians, medical assistants, registered nurses, orthopedic technicians and onsite orthotists.

One of the many benefits of a multidisciplinary approach is that we can offer one-stop visits in a single location. Our services include:

  • X-rays
  • Splinting
  • Casting or other orthopedic device treatments
  • Physical therapy

Why choose us for general orthopedic care?

With more than 100 years of cumulative experience, we have one of the best children’s orthopedics programs in the country. In fact, our Orthopedics Institute is consistently ranked among the best of the best in U.S. News & World Report.

We provide the highest quality professional and ethical care to all patients through the integration of comprehensive education and musculoskeletal research. Our progressive treatment plans are tailored to meet each child’s specific needs, and we work to obtain the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Additionally, our orthopedic experts can provide treatment of clubfoot using the Ponseti method, which has recently become recognized as the universally preferred method for treating clubfoot.
