Adaptive Recreation for Childhood Health (ARCH)
Our Adaptive Recreation for Childhood Health program (formerly the Hospital Sports Program or HSP) helps kids with physical disabilities find confidence and freedom through sports and outdoor recreation.
Center for Gait and Movement Analysis
Our Center for Gait and Movement Analysis (CGMA) is the only center of its kind in the region that provides a comprehensive analysis of gait (walking) and movement.
Cerebral Palsy / Neuromuscular Program
Our Cerebral Palsy Program brings together experts from Orthopedic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Rehabilitation, Physical and Occupational Therapies, Pediatrics, Neurology, Genetics, Nutrition, the Center for Gait and Motion Analysis and Adaptive Recreation for Childhood Health. We treat deformities and movement disorders that result from abnormalities of the brain or spinal cord. Most of the patients we see have cerebral palsy, but we also treat children with orthopedic issues resulting from traumatic brain injuries, seizures, genetic disorders and more.
Concussion Program
Pediatric experts at our Concussion Program evaluate and treat kids through young adults who have sustained concussions and other types of mild traumatic brain injuries.
General Orthopedics Program
The General Orthopedics Program is multi-provider program that is designed to see a variety of musculoskeletal issues to provide management and act as a gateway into the specialty clinics. Diagnoses we treat include: clubfoot, infant hip dysplasia, limb and foot deformities, limb length and angular disparities, syndromic disorders and gait abnormalities, as well as fracture management for broken bones.
Hand Program
Our Hand and Upper Extremity Program is the only center in the region to offer care for the hand, wrist, forearm and elbow to children, teens and young adults.
Hip Program
The team of experts in our Child and Young Adult Hip Preservation Program treat a wide spectrum of hip conditions in patients who range in age from newborns to young adults.
Orthopedic Surgery Program
When orthopedic surgery is the best option for your child, they'll be in some of the most qualified, most experienced and safest hands in the country in our Orthopedic Surgery Program. Kids from all over come to our pediatric orthopedic surgeons for care for sports injuries, spine, hip and hand conditions, broken bones and much more.
Orthopedic Tumor Program
Our Orthopedic Tumor Program specializes in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of benign (non-cancerous) and malignant (cancerous) bone and soft tissue tumors in children, teens and young adults.
Rehabilitation Medicine
Our Rehabilitation Medicine Department brings together a team of highly trained pediatric specialists who work in collaboration with your child, family and primary care physician to ease the effects of illness, injury or disability on development.
Spine Program
Experts at our Spine Program evaluate and treat infants, children, teens and young adults with all types of spinal conditions and injuries. From basic conditions to the most complex, our goal is to provide the safest and most effective treatments.
Sports Medicine Center
Our Sports Medicine Center leads the region in state-of-the-art treatment for developing athletes. From maximizing your diet to changing the game in concussion research to getting athletes back to play after surgery, our integrated team delivers a full spectrum of care.
Trauma Program
Experts in the Orthopedic Trauma Program treat traumatic injuries of all kinds—from broken bones to critical injuries. Our team of pediatric trauma specialists correct deformities, heal bone infections and mend broken limbs.
Our multidisciplinary clinics
Amputee Program
Our Amputee Program provides multi-disciplinary, state-of-the-art care to patients who have upper and/or lower extremity (arm and/or leg) limb deficiency.
Arthrogryposis Clinic
The Arthrogryposis Clinic is a multi-disciplinary clinic consisting of an orthopedic surgeon, rehabilitation physician, nurses and hand therapists to treat contractures – or shortenings – in the joints.
Brachial Plexus Clinic
Our Brachial Plexus Clinic cares for children who have problems with nerves that travel from the spine to the shoulder and arm.
Seating and Mobility Clinic
Specialists in our Seating and Mobility Clinic evaluate patients’ mobility needs and make recommendations for special seating and mobility devices (wheelchairs) to help achieve optimal function.
Spinal Defect Clinic
Our Spinal Defects Clinic provides children with myelomeningocele and spinal cord injury with ongoing management and rehabilitation to facilitate growth and enhance functional independence.
Tone Management and Spasticity Team
The multidisciplinary team works together to bring expertise from the Rehabilitation, Cerebral Palsy, Surgical Tone Clinic and Rhizotomy Clinics to help treat spasticity.
Muscle Clinic
Our Muscle Clinic provides evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of children and adolescents with neuromuscular diseases. It also provides children and families with genetic counseling and support services.
Osteogenesis Imperfecta Clinic
The Osteogenesis Imperfecta Clinic brings together experts from orthopedics, rehabilitation, primary care and genetics to care for patients with congenital bone disorders.
