From the moment you walk in our doors, you can feel that here, it’s different. From little red wagons in our atrium to the artwork on our walls and the amenities we offer, our hospitals were designed to enhance healing and make every visit or extended stay more comfortable.

And when you join the team at Children’s Colorado, you are welcomed with open arms, joining a cohort of other new team members for an in-depth orientation experience. Through in-person and online courses, you’ll learn everything you need to get started — from safety procedures to healthcare benefits. We give you the tools you need to succeed not only in your first week, but during your first 90 days and beyond.

Ingrained throughout your orientation and day-to-day work is our commitment to creating an inclusive culture where every team member, patient and family member feels safe and valued. We know also that we can better serve our community when our team reflects our patient population. We take Halloween seriously! With an all-hospital costume contest, flash mob and reverse trick-or-treating, this is a favorite day for patients and team members alike.

Through partnerships with local nonprofits, we offer wellness incentive points for time you spend volunteering in the community.

We have a growing number of voluntary team member resource groups that bring together those who share a common identity or interest and their allies to create space for discussion, education and celebration.

Patient and team member safety is our number one priority. Our Target Zero initiative focuses on efforts to eliminate preventable harm at Children’s Colorado and develop a safe and resilient community.
