The Cleft Lip and Palate Program provides families with a multidisciplinary team of leading pediatric experts and comprehensive care based on the latest research. Our team works together with departments across the hospital to provide complete treatment and a strategic care plan for kids with cleft lip and palate. The Cleft Lip and Palate Program was established in the early 1970s and has been providing the best possible care for children with cleft lip and cleft palate for more than 50 years. As a top treatment center in the country, and the largest program in the Rocky Mountain region, our program offers experienced, compassionate care that addresses every need of children with cleft lip and cleft palate and their families.

Our program brings together experts from 11 pediatric specialties to treat more than 350 children every year, including 60 to 80 newborns. We find that children born with a cleft lip or palate receive the best results when their care is not only specialized but is provided by a multidisciplinary team who works together.
