Directions and parking
KidStreet is located in the Children's Colorado Health Pavilion, approximately one mile south of Anschutz Medical Campus.
From the north:
Take I-225 south to exit 10 for East Colfax Avenue. Turn right and head west on East Colfax Avenue toward Potomac Street. Turn left on Potomac Street and head south to North Potomac Circle. Turn left into parking lot.
From the south:
Take I-225 north to exit 9 for 6th Avenue. Turn left and head west on 6th Avenue toward Potomac Street. Turn right on Potomac Street and head north to North Potomac Circle. Turn right into parking lot.
Overview
Children's Colorado's KidStreet, Aurora is uniquely designed to provide daily rehabilitation services for infants and children with complex medical needs. These children receive the skilled nursing and rehabilitative therapy care their medical conditions require while allowing them to engage in developmentally appropriate activities and interact with other similarly aged children.
KidStreet is a multidisciplinary early intervention program designed to maximize the health and development of young children who are dependent on medical technology by promoting independence and fostering peer interactions. It is located at the new Children's Colorado Health Pavilion, at 860 North Potomac Circle in Aurora.
How to enroll at KidStreet
To enroll at KidStreet, your child must meet the following requirements:
- Ages 6 weeks to 3 years old
- Daily nursing need based off referral screening
- Therapy need (occupational or physical therapy, speech therapy, etc.)
- Social need
- Available for Monday through Friday enrollment
Anyone can refer children, including:
- Physicians and clinics inside and outside of Children's Colorado
- Parents
- "Birth to Three" service providers
